Jessica Rowe has been actively involved in the education of her children. She belonged to a play based preschool co-op for several years and volunteered weekly in her children’s K-8 classrooms.  She believes homeschooling provides the opportunity for children to learn about subjects they have a genuine interest in, hosted in an environment that is comfortable, safe, and fun. This is turn, fosters a lifelong love of learning, which is the real goal of education. She holds an AA in Early Childhood Development and brings a centered focus and enthusiasm for elementary education.

“Great teachers focus not on compliance, but on connections and relationships.” -P.J. Caposey

Missie Shimizu is a CA credentialed teacher and a former first grade teacher.  She began her homeschooling journey when her son was diagnosed with dyslexia.  While homeschooling her children she became involved with homeschool support groups and co-ops.  She also taught classes for homeschoolers through two local homeschool businesses.  She believes that as each child is unique; so is their approach to learning.  Homeschooling offers the ability to tap into that individual learning process with success. I tutored my son with a dyslexic specific program and can help your child if needed.
